Friedman Brain Institute
The Friedman Brain Institute is an interdisciplinary hub for the study and treatment of brain and spinal cord disorders. The Institute was established in 2008 as the Brain Institute at Mount Sinai under the direction of Eric Nestler, MD, PhD. In 2010 it was renamed the Friedman Brain Institute in honor of a gift from Mount Sinai Trustee Richard A. Friedman and his wife Susan.
